Your Responsibility: You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to upload any files or content you submit. You retain ownership of your content; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the Service.
Copyright Compliance: Board game rulebooks are typically protected by copyright. You may only upload:
- Rulebooks you own the copyright to
- Rulebooks you have explicit permission to upload
- Public domain or Creative Commons licensed materials
- Your own original game rules and content
DMCA Policy: We respond to valid DMCA takedown notices. Copyright holders may contact dmca@blindpixelsstudio.com to report infringement. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
Educational Use: Personal, non-commercial use for learning game rules may qualify as fair use, but you remain responsible for ensuring your uploads comply with copyright law.
4. AI Outputs and Accuracy
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use them at your discretion. We provide the Service "as is" without warranties and recommend verifying responses against official rulebooks.
5. Acceptable Use
- No unlawful, infringing, or harmful content or activity.
- No attempts to reverse engineer, disrupt, or bypass security.
- No automated scraping or rate abuse.
6. Plans, Payments, and Ads
Free users may see ads via Google AdSense. Paid plans (if offered) reduce or remove ads as described at checkout. Taxes and recurring billing terms are disclosed at purchase.
7. Fair Use Policy
To keep BoardGameRules.ai affordable for everyone, Pro subscriptions include unlimited questions under our Fair Use Policy.
• Pro usage is designed for normal, personal board gaming activity.
• Automated scripts, bots, or excessive queries beyond 2,000 questions per month may be restricted.
• If you regularly need more than that, you can purchase extra question packs or contact us for a custom plan.
• We rarely enforce these limits, but this ensures BoardGameRules.ai remains sustainable and accessible to all players.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of amounts paid by you in the 3 months before the claim or USD $50.
